Chelsea Wildman

We are asking for prayers and financial help for Zach (Husband) and Dean (8-year-old son) as they grieve the loss of Chelsea Wildman. Chelsea fought hard for 4 years as stage 4 colon cancer took over her body and she lost her battle in the early hours of Monday morning.

Chelsea's role in her family's living cost were vital to the house hold. She was a successful CPA at a local firm. As you can imagine, medical costs and expenses continued to mount quickly.

March 2020, we were all impacted by COVID, however the Wildman's were hit exceptionally hard. Zach was forced to take a leave of absence to protect Chelsea from any illness he could be exposed to while working at the hospital. With Chelsea's weakened immune system, she was in no condition to fight more issues. This, while a necessary decision, put them further in need of living expenses.

Once many measures were put in place, Zach was able to resume work. Unfortunately Chelsea's cancer continued to spread through her body even after multiple surgeries, high risk procedures, multiple forms of chemotherapy, and untold numbers of medications. As her health continued to decline in the last year and a half, she was forced to leave her job. All of the aggressive treatment triggered her autoimmune disease to relapse. Chelsea was now facing more medications to slow the progression of her disease on top of her already ravaged body.

In March 2023, Chelsea was gifted the opportunity to take a vacation with her beautiful family though Waves of Grace. The picture on this page was taken by Pure7 Studios, a generous partner with Waves of Grace and does wonderful work for these families. In April of 2023 Chelsea went in to Hospice care.

At just 36 years old, Chelsea's fight ended early Monday morning. I know we are all facing unprecedented times, however the Wildman's can feel every prayer for peace and wish for healing. Any donation is appreciated more than you know.
