I never thought I’d be writing something like this, but today I’m asking for help for me because I don't think i truly doesn’t deserve what has happened to me has recently been the victim of a devastating scam, losing £26,000 — savings, built up through years of hard work and sacrifice. Like many scams today, it was sophisticated, convincing, and designed to exploit trust. By the time the truth came out, the money was gone.

This loss hasn’t just hit financially — it’s taken an emotional toll too. There’s shock, embarrassment, anger, and the heavy weight of trying to rebuild from scratch. No one ever thinks it will happen to them, but these criminals are professionals at manipulation.

As someone who served in the Army, I believe in standing by your mates when they’re down. We don’t leave people behind. And right now, my friend needs that same sense of community and support.
