Support Chelsea Dukes in Her Second Battle with Complex Thyroid Cancer — and Her Third Fight Against Cancer
Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out on behalf of one of my closest friends, Chelsea Dukes—a kind-hearted, resilient, and incredibly loving woman who has always put others first. Now, she needs our help as she faces another overwhelming challenge.
Chelsea is 33 years old, a devoted mom to her amazing son King, and a hardworking Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and Admissions Director in Knox, Pennsylvania. She’s spent her life caring for others—with her time, her energy, and her heart.
Her battle with cancer began in 2010
She was diagnosed with a rare germ cell ovarian cancer, an aggressive form that makes up just 3% of ovarian cancer cases. She fought through it with unimaginable strength—and we all prayed that would be the end of it.
But in 2023, Chelsea was diagnosed again—this time with papillary thyroid carcinoma, an aggressive form of thyroid cancer that includes the BRAFV600E mutation.
Once again, Chelsea faced it head-on with bravery and grace.
And now, in May 2025, the cancer has returned.
Chelsea is preparing for another major and risky surgery, followed by a long and difficult recovery. She’ll be unable to work for an extended period—and sadly, her short-term medical leave has already been exhausted.
The emotional, physical, and financial toll is massive.
Chelsea is the kind of person who always shows up:
For her patients.
For her family.
For her friends.
For her community.
Now it’s our turn to show up for her.
We're raising funds to help Chelsea and her son by covering:
Medical expenses not fully covered by insurance
Travel and lodging for out-of-town treatments
Basic living costs during unpaid medical leave
Every donation—no matter the amount—makes a difference.
If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this page and sending love and strength to Chelsea and her family.
Let’s come together and surround her with the same support and care she’s given to so many others.
With so much gratitude,
