In memory of Chelsea Hunter
Donation protected
On February 9th, we lost Chelsea. That is an unbelievably hard thing to say. This was a life cut short and so many people are feeling this loss so very strongly.
Chelsea was an amazing mother, first and foremost. I couldn't ask for a more amazing mother for my first grandbaby, raising Marley with love and care. She was a daughter, a sister and friend to so many people and she was a joy to us all with her bright smile and goofy laugh. She would do absolutely anything for the people she loved, and it showed.
I know there are so many questions about what happened to someone so young. We were all in shock and taken off guard by this. Chelsea had been sick with flu like sypmtoms for a couple days leading up. Since she was sick, Marley was with Devyn. Preliminary autopsy results show keytones and glucose in her urine which point to undiagnosed diabetes. We are expecting the final results to show diabetic ketoacodosis. It's such a punch in the gut, because this just shouldn't have happened to such a beautiful soul.
We hope to raise enough funds to pay for services, which are TBA, and all additional funds going into a trust for Marley. We want to give that little girl the bright future that Chelsea dreamed of. Nothing can ever replace her beautiful Mama, but this entire family is coming together and showering this little girl with all the love and comfort we have to give. Nothing is more important than keeping Chelsea's memories alive for that sweet baby.
Please keep her entire family in your thoughts and prayers. She would be so happy that we are all coming together, to support, love and comfort each other ❤️
