Chelsea Finnigan's Brain Tumor

Hi my name is Clarissa Smedley, my friend Vanessa Giesbrecht and I are creating this fund for our beloved pals Andy Schneider and Chelsea Finnigan.

Our extraordinary friend Chelsea was diagnosed with a tumour on her brainstem in April 2021. She has been courageously fighting this tumour all year, remaining positive and hopeful through chemotherapy and radiation. Unfortunately, she was told this week that her tumour has grown despite full medical treatment. She was given 2-3 months left to live.

We are starting this GoFundMe to help support Andy and Chelsea over the next couple months. These funds will allow Andy to take time off work to be with Chelsea and to care for her as she becomes more symptomatic. With a mortgage to pay and two wonderful cats to look after, this will help ease some of the financial stressors for our incredible friends as they go through an unimaginable time.

Full financial profits will be given directly to Andy and Chelsea. We researched different crowdfunding platforms and found that GoFundMe had among the lowest fees for donation.
