Chelsea Brown Long COVID Relief Fund

As most of us have been able to return to some semblance of our lives pre-COVID, Chelsea’s life is drastically different from the life she led before she contracted SARS-COV-2 for the first time in August 2021. Over the past year, she has been challenged mentally, physically, and emotionally as she has had to navigate the healthcare system in search of finding treatment for the chronic illness she now lives with. In addition to being her own patient advocate, she is a wife to David and a mom to three beautiful boys; their lives have all been greatly impacted to prevent Chelsea from further illness, and, yet, she has been unable to get the care, understanding, and therapies she needs at Kaiser. With her permission, I am setting up this fundraiser in the hopes of raising $5,000 to enable her to see out-of-network providers and access treatments that are not currently covered by her insurance.

It would be a disservice to her story to try to tell it when I have not lived it.
