Help Chelsea beat brain cancer!

Donation protected
Hi my name is Wendy and in 2018 my daughter Chelsea was diagnosed with a grade 3 anaplastic Astrocytoma brain tumour and underwent surgery and radical chemotherapy with radiotherapy. We were always told that the cancer was incurable and chelsea would be monitored for the rest of her life and unfortunately after a routine MRI scan in May 2024 we were told Chelsea’s tumour was showing growth and she subsequently underwent emergency brain surgery and started on a new chemotherapy, however at the beginning of this year we were sadly informed that Chelsea’s treatment was not working and her tumour had grown and therefore treatment would be cancelled. The oncologist explained that due to chelsea already having had treatment and surgery and due to the way In which the tumour had regrown radiotherapy and surgery were no longer an option, and all they could offer at this stage was more of the chemo chelsea had back in 2018, but they explained this was to give chelsea more time and unfortunately we were looking at months as oppose to years.
chelsea’s whole team have been incredible and we’re very thankful for all they have done but now we feel it’s time to explore other options outside of the NHS and have been looking into the private healthcare sector. We would be grateful for any donations you are able to give to support us in finding suitable treatments and if possible to make some wonderful memories
