Hi. My name is Graciela (Chela) Cobb and I am 13 years of age. I am writing this gofundme request due to the financial hardship my family would experience for participating in the 2019 Orfeo Music Festival (Festival) in Sterzing, Italy.
I have been playing piano for five and a half years. My interest in playing piano stems from my love for music as early as an infant. I come from a family background where playing an instrument is very much a privilege. Both my parents did not grow up playing an instrument. I feel that, in my five and half years of playing, I have broken down numerous barriers for my family by even having the opportunity to participate in this particular Festival. I feel as though piano was a gift to me from God and I want to strive to learn more.
