Please join us in supporting an incredible man, husband, and father, Chef Adam J. Heath.

Adam joined The Houston Racquet Club in 2016 as Executive Chef and later advanced to his current role as Director of Clubhouse and Culinary Operations. Prior to HRC, he served as Executive Chef at The Forest Club, a role he accepted after seven years as Executive Sous Chef at River Oaks Country Club.

Over the past 15 months, Adam has been bravely battling stage IV kidney cancer and, more recently, stage IV liver cancer. A few weeks ago, doctors advised him to focus on comfort and spending meaningful time with his family in the months ahead.

Adam is only 43 years old. He and his wife, Karla, have seven children. Despite everything, Adam remains positive, but his greatest concern is simple and heartbreaking: how to ensure his family is taken care of after he is gone.

We are asking for donations to the Adam Heath Family Trust to provide much-needed support during this difficult time. If you are able to support this effort in any way, it would mean more than words could properly express to Adam, Karla, and their children.

Please join Adam and his family, supported by the HRC Board of Directors and Past Presidents Council, on Saturday, January 31st, at 5:00 pm for an evening of cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and a Big Board and live auction featuring items generously donated by top neighboring country clubs.
