Support Heather after the tragic loss of Kurtis

On behalf of Chef John Varanese, and the entire River House Family I have started this GoFundMe page to send support to Chef Kurtis's wife Heather and their 3 beautiful children during this difficult time. Kurtis was tragically killed in a car accident early morning on July 4, 2021. He was the Executive Sous Chef at River House working everyday with a smile and setting a great example of being a team leader. Kurtis never said no to a task! His energetic smile will be greatly missed. Kurtis leaves behind his wife Heather, a stay at home Mom of 3 children ages 6, 4, and 2. Kurtis was the only source of income in their home and we ask everyone to give what you can to help Heather continue to care for those babies and to help with funeral expenses. All money raised will go directly to Heather Thomas.
