Hi, Chefs Danny Kievet and Steven Kohlbus are helping Chef Iradel Price raise funds to pay for medical expenses due to a rare eye infection. Chef Price had to spend 3 weeks in the hospital in isolation due to a rare eye infection that required around-the-clock IV antibiotics. He also had to have multiple procedures to help alleviate pressure and swelling as well as Retna Reattachment surgery in hopes of saving his eye. Due to the severity of the infection and the nature of it Chef Price was also in isolation in the hospital, staying in touch via phone, facetime and text with his friends and loved ones including his young son and wife.

The hospitality industry is also a close-knit family and when something happens to one of our own we come together. This gives us all an opportunity to help Chef Price get back on his feet and recover. His laugh and smile are infectious and he has been a mentor to many young chefs coming through the ranks of White Lodging and Easy Tiger. This is our chance to give back to someone who has dedicated his life to serving the community, his staff, and his patrons.
