Chef Lucas Accident

My name is Chef May, and I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my Chef and my friend Lucas. Lucas was involved in a devastating motorcycle accident on his way to work on Sunday, May 15th where he was left on the side of highway (1) for over an hour suffering from broken bones and concussion . When he was found, he was in a horrible condition, and quickly was transported by a helicopter to Stanford Hospital.

Lucas was admitted to Truama unit and Doctors conducted over 3 surgeries to save his life. Lucas suffered from number of injuries including: left upper lope pulmonary contusion, right rib fracture,  fracture dislocation of 2nd and 3rd CMC joints, along with compound fractures in both arms.  he sustained other injuries as well, but these are some of the major impacts we know of so far.

Chef lucas is a talented and passionate chef who just moved from Spain to California to pursue his dream with no family in the US. Doctor informed him, it will take him a long while to get back to the kitchen and alot of physical and rehabilitation therapy. Despite the pain, Lucas is maintaining a beautiful spirit, counting his blessings that he is a still alive.

Many people have asked how they can help. Any donation would help him immensely to offset medical bills that insurance wont cover like the helicopter ride and other living expenses while he is healing.
