Chef Jimmy (Twisted Flavor) Needs Help

I am Terese Nelson, Chef Jimmy's mother. My son has spent his life feeding people with his amazing dishes. He never stopped to think about what he needed only what his family required. He worked grueling hours day-in and day-out and now he has been left without any resources due to health problems. I am running this GoFundMe to help raise money for his medical bills. Let me explain:

As a chef, you learn to take what is in front of you and create. Chef Jimmy has created masterpiece dishes, memorable events based around his food and a skillset so developed that he was successful in one of the most difficult industries for decades. He created C'est Prouve LLC, Nubu LLC, City Eats LLC, Wild Brewworks and Grill LLC, Sunset Grille LLC, Wild, LLC and finally Twisted Flavor LLC. Each business successful in the culinary arts industry featuring food that was like no other.

In November 2023, life threw a HUGE hurdle at Chef Jimmy. Being self-employed and constantly driving himself to grow a business that would bring everyone, "the Food You Love to Eat", Chef became very sick. He was pushing himself to complete catering engagements and maintain bookings, but his body was failing him. With no health insurance, he knew getting healthcare was going to be difficult. So, he pushed himself so hard, that he was unable to stand in his Food Truck to cook. But did he stop? No. He pulled a stool in front of his grill and cooked. Little did he know his body was literally attacking itself so aggressively that it created infections that were shutting down his major organs. By the week of Christmas, he was no longer able to function in his role as chef and entrepreneur. He was taken to the Emergency Room at Atrium Floyd Hospital, and they put him straight into the ICU. Two and a half weeks in the hospital has proven that Chef Jimmy no longer can work and create with Twisted Flavor and the company is now closed permanently.

A heartbroken, defeated chef with no way to support he and his family Jimmy is now facing life-altering changes and insurmountable medical bills with no income and no medical insurance. His medical conditions are serious and chronic. They require expensive medications, treatments and specialists' appointments for the rest of his life. He has been fighting for medical insurance from his hospital bed and there have been no breaks. Devastated and defeated are mild terms for his current state. He has been humbled by all your support through developing his businesses over the years and now is hoping you will help him in his time of need.

What has to be done:

Accrued Medical Bills from 2.5 weeks of acute hospital stay need to be paid.

Paying for medications and appointments to specialists after hospital

Refitting the home and bathroom to make it accessible for Chef Jimmy.
