Hello you lovely lot..
I have a good friend who I'm sure you will all recognise, Mr Rob Symes.
He has been working tirelessly this year, bringing us all free, wonderful content to improve our enjoyment of our hobby and I for one would like him to know how much we appreciate what he's doing for our gaming community.
I'm sure we can all agree the Honest Wargamer's recent coverage of Bobo2018 was flawless.
While there, I mentioned I'd committed to attending Adepticon next year in the good ol' USA. Rob spoke about how he loved that kind of event and it was a hobby of goal of his to attend one day.
I think we should all make this happen sooner rather than later!
If you are like me and check out the Honest Gamer's content from time to time without subscribing, perhaps you could chuck some pennies towards this?
To fund his content, he has worked none stop building from scratch and could do with a holiday. If he wasn't made to feel he had to go on holiday he wouldn't..
£1500 should be enough for flights, hotel and the event itself. I'm sure if there was any left over it would find a good home helping him buy and maintain his equipment to stream more events live!

Honestly, I'm so impressed with the response from our community, we've gotten Rob to Adepticon and it's taken less than a week!!!
More than a few people have pointed out the amount of time and effort the marvellous Nathan Prescott has devoted to help Rob build The Honest Wargamer to where it is today and it's probably best he has someone with him minding him in America right?
As such, there's a good amount of time before Adepticon tickets go on sale and I'd like to try and extend the love to bring Nathan along with Rob to the States. Another grand should see them both there and back comfortably. So I've extended the target.
If you've already donated, you absolute loves, don't feel the need to send anymore but please do share! If you haven't gotten involved yet, a few pennies or a share would be incredible, I'd really appreciate it.
