Hi! My name is Brittany. My daughter, Maran, has participated in cheerleading for the last 6 years and has been named to the UCA All-American cheer team. With this great honor comes the opportunity to participate in a variety of domestic and abroad parades and performances.

Maran would love nothing more than to be able to participate in the 84th Pearl Harbor parade, representing her high school’s cheer team. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for her, and she needs help raising the funds to go. Maran and her teammates, who were awarded this great distinction, are also organizing some amazing local fundraising events to generate the funds for this trip.

To tell you a little bit more about Maran… she’s an amazing young lady. She’s getting ready to enter her senior year of high school. Maran has been involved in our community’s local theater since she was seven years old. This has led her to perform with our school's theater club, starting in the 6th grade, having several leading roles in musicals and dramas. Maran played the trumpet in her school’s band for 5 years. She has participated in her school’s choir for the last 11 years. Maran was a member of Junior Beta and is a current member and officer of her school’s HS Beta society. She has competed at local and national Beta conferences. Maran has also played soccer for her school for the last six years, named as a captain for the last three years. Maran is heavily involved with a youth group at a local church, participating in several summer camps and mission trips. She currently works at our community’s pool, earning as much money as possible to go towards this UCA trip. As you can see, Maran is very involved in her school and community. Participating in this UCA trip would be a great way to celebrate her accomplishments before setting off for the adventures that await her after high school.
