Hello Everyone,

As most of you know, my name is Lisa and once again , I am participating in the Miami Half Marathon – however this year, I am doubling down. I am also doing the 305 half in March. Two half marathons within a month of each other , challenging myself, not because I have to… because I get to. Every year, I continue to be inspired knowing that I have the privilege to move my body at any time. Every day, I am reminded this is a blessing, and can be taken at any moment.

I am once again hoping you will join me in supporting Jackson Memorial Hospital's Infusion Center, where every day they provide patients with chemotherapy and other life-saving treatments. Many of these patients have limited means and could use basic and practical needs last year, we were able to provide over 100 bags of toiletries and water bottles to patients. Imagine what we can do this year !

The other half of these funds will go to supporting the Holtz Children's Hospital Prom, ensuring that all the kids and young adults in the hospital do not miss out on a magical night despite their illness or injuries. Last year, the monies raised went to the photo booth where the kids and their families were able to record and preserve the memories of the wonderful night they had. Thanks to your donations, not only were they able to have a memorable night , we ensure they would never forget it.

It is only with humility, patience and leaning on your team that you can get we can often reach a goal. I see this daily. It is a privilege to represent my “team” out there. I hope you will be able to support me and them throughout these two races. Thank you all for cheering me on !
