Cheddar’s Medical Treatment

Donation protected
Please meet Cheddar, a beloved member of our family who has brought us endless joy and companionship over the past 1.5 years. She has been a constant source of love and laughter, but now she needs our help.

The Situation:
Recently, Cheddar has fallen seriously ill, suffering from chronic diarrhea, significant weight loss (10lbs), and severe lethargy. We’ve tried food trial and after numerous vet visits and preliminary treatments, our vet has conducted extensive testing, including ultrasounds, blood pressure monitoring, and consultations with internal medicine specialists. The situation took a worrying turn over Christmas when Cheddar began to exhibit even more concerning symptoms, like blood in her stool and extreme pallor in her gums.

The medical team is doing everything they can, running a comprehensive list of tests to diagnose her condition, which may range from a severe infection to potential colon cancer. Each test provides us with crucial information, but also adds to the growing pile of veterinary bills. While we have been able to manage her medical bills for the past few months, the new tests for Cheddar will run about $7,500-$8,500 and we would really appreciate you help.

We are reaching out to our community, friends, and fellow animal lovers for support. The costs of Cheddar’s ongoing medical care are substantial, and while we have managed so far, the financial strain is growing. Your support would help cover the costs of her hospitalization, medication, specialized tests, and treatment plans, which are essential for her recovery.

How You Can Help:
Any donation, big or small, will go directly to Cheddar’s medical expenses. Even if you’re unable to contribute financially, we would really appreciate your support and share this post to your community as well. If you pet has ever experienced anything like this, it would also be helpful if you could reach out to us and let us know what the diagnosis was. Again, we truly appreciate you reading this story and hopefully Cheddar can reach full recovery soon.

*All the funds raised will go directly to Cheddar's medical treatment plans. Any unused amount will be donated to other dogs in need. We will post invoices as Cheddar goes through these tests and treatments.

We will keep posting updates on how she's doing here and instagram @chebbiedoo

Again, we truly appreciate your help and support in this difficult time.
