Hi all, 

For those of you you who have not heard Cheata has been having some serious medical issues over the past few weeks. We are raising money to help her with ongoing medical expenses along with personal expenses, as she has needed time away from work. 

Cheata had originally suffered from prolonged headaches which over time turned into numbness and weakness on the left side of her body. A trip to the ER landed her at the U of M where she had a CT scan and MRI. Cheata was diagnosed with MS and suffered from a stroke. Soon after she was admitted to the U of M again when her symptoms had worsened. Another MRI scan showed a lesion on her brain, along with swelling of her brain and spine. She is being treated with steroids to reduce the inflammation and stop the progression of the lesion which effects the parts of her brain stem that controls speech, eating/drinking, and breathing. 

Cheata had limited insurance through work which will not cover any of her medical expenses including physical therapy. We are looking to raise as much as we can so she can cover her previous and on going medical bills, as well as her personal expenses at home raising six children.
