Dear friends and patrons,
As you know, COVID-19 pandemic has devastated the restaurant industry causing owners like us to have to make incredibly difficult decisions regarding the fate of our employees and restaurants.
To protect the well-being of our work family, we decided that all hourly employees at both Che Fico and Che Fico Alimentari will be furloughed, not laid off. This will allow them to keep health insurance, get paid sick leave, as well as collect unemployment. To support this, we have asked all salaried employees to take the minimum allowed during this time. As owners, we will also be taking a reduced fee.
In order to do this, we need your help. If you are able, please donate to support our hourly staff. Any amount would be greatly appreciated and 100% of the donations will go to them.
The amount of compassion we have seen from our community is incredible and gives us great hope for the future. Thank you so much for any support you can provide. Together we can rise during this dark time.
