Chaz Ashley-Cruz has devoted his selfless life to community and community love.  In fact, he teaches and preaches this topic because he knows that healing does not exist in the absence of love.

Friends and family, at this time, Chaz needs to feel our love. After Granny passed away recently, Chaz has felt the deep tear that only the loss of a life can bring.  Being absent from work for over a month now presents immense challenges for Chaz.  This has resulted in Chaz losing out on 3/4 of a month's pay.

As the 1st of the month approaches, Chaz is not in a position to cover nearly all of his bills.  

If you know Chaz, you know he fought against the idea of this gofundme. However, he simply needs a reminder that community love means being vulnerable and allowing community to fill in some of the smaller voids he has been encountering during this time.

The amount he is out is $2,500.  Any additional funds raised will go toward meals that he will definitely need during this long journey of moving forward.
