Hi, my name is Sheila, and I am raising funds for my daughter and grandchildren while her fiance, Bud, their daddy, struggles to sustain his life after a tragic accident. These funds will be used to pay rent, utilities, transportation, car insurance, and gas for traveling to and from the hospital. 

 My daughter, Chayce, 8 months into a high risk pregnancy, had just taken maternity leave to protect her unborn son. Bud had been working two jobs and had a rare Friday night off and decided to take his motorcycle out for the first time of the season. On his way home, June 24, 2022, he was struck by a car that failed to yield as Bud passed through an intersection. 

Bud has suffered severe injuries to his entire body. The extent of the damage includes a broken right wrist/arm, internal bleeding that required two surgeries to locate and repair, his left leg shattered in two places with additional breaks, including four in his femur and three in the tibia and smaller fibula, his left arm, from the fingers to the shoulder/neck area, appears to be paralyzed, and every major bone in his face sustained severe fractures that will require plates and reconstructive plastic surgery to repair. Bud is in critical condition, on life support, has sepsis and pneumonia, and is not stable enough to undergo necessary surgeries to repair his body at this time. He has a long road to recovery ahead of him and, until he is conscious, we have no way of securing benefits that would help support his family during this time.
