On May 19th, 2026, our lives changed forever. Our beloved Chay Wilson was taken from us far too soon, and the pain our family is experiencing is truly unimaginable. He was fatally stabbed in broad daylight just minutes away from his home.

Chay was a caring, genuine, bold yet quiet young man and the only boy of his mother's 4 children. He was very into music, skateboarding, and helping others even though he didn't have much himself. Chay had dreams of being able to one day give back to the community and youth who needed guidance and encouragement.

He was more than a son, brother, family member, and friend — he was someone deeply loved by everyone who knew him, with a smile that would light up any room. His loss has left a hole in our hearts that can never be filled.

No family is ever prepared for the emotional and financial pain that comes with losing a loved one so suddenly. As we try to process this devastating and heartbreaking reality, we are humbly asking for any support towards Chay's homecoming.
