Chavon's father has been battling advanced liver cancer and was taken by ambulance to the hospital yesterday after being found with low blood sugar and low oxygen. Unfortunately, the doctors say there is nothing more they can do for him now as his liver has shut down completely and his body is failing. Chavon left work and drove to California immediately yesterday to be by her father's side. She was hoping to bring him home with her for his final days, however his doctors do not believe he would survive the trip. 

Chavon will be missing work as she is in California with her father, as well as facing multiple expenses: travel, a hotel room close to the hospital, meals on the go, and ultimately funeral/memorial expenses. Chavon, mother of 5 beautiful kids, already lives on a tight budget (and has gone back and forth between Tri-Cities and California MANY times in the last year to be at her father's appointments and visit him), and now she needs our help so she can focus on being with her father in his final days and not worry about how she is going to pay for it!

All money raised will go to Chavon Avis directly to cover all of the above listed expenses.
