My family in the house 20 years ago before the house burnt down

On April 29th, 2015 Pete Chavez Sr. 87, Frances Chavez 85 and their son Manuel 57, lost their home in a fire.  Every possession they owned and memories they collected in the past 60+ years burnt to the ground.  They got out just in time, thanks to their son Manuel who suffered from 3rd degree burns trying to save them.

Today, they have NO HOME.  The last years of their life, they have to deal with this tragedy. The insurance company  gave them enough money to tear the ramains of the house down, so it doesn't become an eye sore to the community, but nothing to build a new home.

All their life Frances and Pete, have helped the community, family, and even strangers. From taking people in their home, feeding the neighborhood kids or even taking strange kids off the street and putting a roof over their heads. It's our turn to give back. 

Let's all do what we can to build this new home for them, exactly the way it was before it  burned. It's on us now.
