Hello everyone, we created this page after being encouraged by some people that have learned about our situation and wanted to help.

Beatriz is currently 33 weeks pregnant and has been put on bed rest due to complications that have arisen during the pregnancy. This has been a huge blow and we are still trying to figure out how to overcome this new obstacle, stress, and uncertainty.

We had budgeted for her to be able to work up until her original due date of April 21st, but she is suffering from gestational diabetes and high blood pressure putting us at risk Pre-eclampsia which has may jeopardize her and little Sebastian's lives.

As of last week she cannot work or do any activities at home such as laundry or walking for more than a few minutes at a time. Thankfully family and friends have stepped in to help with these challenges but we still have some financial needs rapidly approaching.

There is still a possibility she may need to be hospitalized before she is induced because her blood pressure has been spiking to dangerous levels even while she is resting. We may be taking her to the hospital today if it doesn't improve because it is not coming down from the 150's.

We are also just a few weeks away from closing on our first home after two years of searching for the right one within our budget.  We have moved several times in the past two years working our way into larger living spaces for the boys but our lease is up April 1st at our current rental. This in itself has been challenging and stressful but we finally can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

So things seem to be hitting us all at once, and this is one of the most challenging seasons our family has had to walk through. She will now be induced a week after we are set to move on April 3rd.

The school district she works for does not allow a leave pool for anything related to maternity and has only been able to save around 10 days because she exhausted her leave last year supporting her mother's battle with cancer.

Marco works full time and provides healthcare for the family so Beatriz's salary covers a majority of the bills while he takes home very little.

He has recently taken on as much overtime as allowed by his employer but will still fall short around $3,000/month of replacing her income and she will not be able to return to work until a few weeks before summer release when her pay will resume.

Marco also has a mass growing on his throat and is waiting to have surgery until after we get settled in our home with the baby if we are able to afford it at that time. It has caused some discomfort and difficulty swallowing in recent months and the doctor wants to remove it completely and have it tested before we know anything further.

If you can't donate please share our page this page because that is still a huge help.

Our needs are:

1. Firstly, prayers for her and our sons health and safety. This is scary and we are very worried for both of them. Prayers for Marcos growth are also appreciated.

2. Financial help so we can close on our home, cover new medical expenses, move, and keep up financially until her pay resumes in June.

3. Volunteers and/or trucks and trailers to help us move on March 26th and 27th.

Thank you for taking the time to read about our situation and ask that you pray about any way you are able to help stand with us in these challenging times.

Please contact Marco if you have any questions as to how you can pitch in.
