Chato and his family need our help!!

My name is Michelle Vasquez, I am Chato's sister-in-law. As most if not all of you know Chato is in the hospital fighting for his life right now because of COVID. For those of you that don't know here is the story. On February 28, 2021, Chato tested positive for COVID and was sick. He progressively kept getting worse and started having trouble breathing. So on March 5, 2021, his wife Jessica took him to the hospital in Lake Jackson where he stayed 36 hours and was released with oxygen. Chato was home for 24 hours and his breathing got worse so Jessica took him back to the hospital on March 7, 2021, but this time to UTMB Angleton where he was immediately admitted. Chato now had COVID pneumonia by this time. In Angleton they started him on medications for the COVID virus and to help fight the pneumonia and help Chato start breathing better. He stayed in Angleton until March 19, 2021. At that time the medical staff decided that Chato needed to be transferred to UTMB Clear Lake, so he could be close to the pulmonary specialist. Over the past few days Chato has been having more and more trouble breathing even while being on a Bipap machine with the oxygen maxed out at 100%. Him and his body were having to work real hard just to breath, so as of this morning the pulmonary specialist decided the best thing for Chato is to put him on a ventilator to give his body the time it needs to rest and recover with the goal of him being able to come off of the ventilator soon breathing on his own. Chato has a VERY long and hard road ahead of him so him and his family need our help. Since getting sick in February Chato and his wife Jessica have not been working and right now this is understandably the farthest thing from Jessica's mind. I am asking if you can, please donate whatever is possible to help Chato and Jessica with the expenses of the medical bills because Chato has no medical insurance, as well as with every day household bills and groceries. Even if you can't donate please just pray for them!!!
