Hi Everyone,
My name is Kayla Carmona. I am a freshman attending University of Saint Katherine in San Marcos. I have always been a big believer in making a change even if it is the smallest action. The charity's cause is to help people with Prostate Cancer. I had a family member who was diagnosis with this type of Cancer, my grandpa. Due to this illness my Grandpa did not end up surviving he passed October 29th 2013 This was not an easy transition in my family's life and in mine. Four years later and I still miss him tremendously. On my birthday, holiday's, and especially when I start a family. My grandpa was a man of few words but when he did speak it was true words of wisdom. Four years, later I decided to start this gofundme to help with my coping of losing him. Not just for my benefit but for my family as well especially my grandma. It was not easy losing the love of her life but if my grandpa would say one thing today he would say "I love you." With your donations I would like to give this money to an organization who can help people with Prostate Cancer just like my grandpa. It is no pressure to donate but just a $1.00 can make a difference. Sadly, my grandpa's life could not be saved but if I could help benefit others that are still suffering from this illness that would make me so happy. Being able to help others in need has always been a passion of mine ever since I was a little girl. If you could please contribute to this gofundme I would greatly appreciate it.
