The Chaski Foundation: Athlete Empowerment for All

The Chaski Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit aimed at empowering athletes and fostering community worldwide. This is our initial launch fundraiser with a goal of giving the Chaski Foundation a base with which to pursue projects focused on athlete education and support, particularly in underserved and underfunded parts of the USA and the World.
Initial projects to be undertaken by the Chaski Foundation include,
* Funding local athletic empowerment programs in the USA and abroad, such as local running clinics, competitions, and clubs in under-served areas and providing basic equipment (running shoes, etc.) for individuals and groups in underserved and under-represented communities;
* Funding environmental protection projects aimed at helping to protect and/or restore the trails and mountains that we all love; and,
* Funding art and media projects aimed at highlighting the stories of those in underrepresented communities.
** OUR LAUNCH FUNDRAISER: Ty to Attempt 10 Record Runs in the Andes **
In case you missed it, Chaski founder Tyler Andrews will attempt to set 10 records for "Fastest Known Times" on mountains and trails in the Andes mountains. (Read all about it here ).
In doing so, he's hoping to raise $10,000+ to launch the Chaski Foundation and fund our first year of projects
Please consider a donation for each record Ty will attempt, with a factor that works for your budget, $5 per record ($50 total), $10 per record ($100 total), $50 per record ($500 total), or $100 per record ($1,000 total). (Of course you're welcome to donate any amount that fits in your budget; we're just trying to keep the "10" theme!)

*The Chaski Foundation is pending 501c3 status approval but final approval will occur in mid 2021. All 2021 donations will be tax deductible, regardless of whether they're made before or after approval.
