Help me help future families this Baby Loss Awareness Week
Chasing Rainbows has done so much for us since losing our precious Delilah, Sam from the charity was there holding my hand in theatre, helping me feel a tiny bit less petrified about what was about to happen, Sam helped with caring for Delilah when she was born, Sam dressed Delilah, and took footprints for us to treasure. Sam helped make the short time we had together truly magical. For that, I will always be deeply grateful. Sam has continued to check in with us throughout Amelia’s time in NICU and even now, she is one of the only people who can say she held both the girls. Sam has done all of this & more for us, all that the charity have done means more to me than I can even put into words
What touches me most is how Sam always remembers Delilah, through the smallest, most thoughtful gestures, often with little touches of butterflies, even at the rainbow celebration this weekend with our butterfly table . It’s these beautiful reminders that mean so much and keep her memory alive in such a special way.
There will never be words to truly express how thankful I am for Sam and Chasing Rainbows.
The Chasing Rainbow charity also support fertility journeys, and although I didn’t experience this myself this part of the charity is incredibly close to my heart also, seeing the support and lifeline this charity gives to people is irreplaceable ✨
This Baby Loss Awareness Week, I want to shine a light on the incredible work they do. I want everyone to know that this support exists, even though I hope you’ll never need it. Chasing Rainbows relies on donations to continue helping families like ours, and in Delilah’s name, I hope to raise awareness and give a little something back to those who help carry families through their darkest days.
