Chasing My Dream from Bay to Cornell: Greener Cities for All
Donation protected
Hi everyone!
I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be pursuing my Master’s in Landscape Architecture at Cornell University starting in Fall 2025!
Unfortunately, I didn’t receive financial aid from the university — but I refuse to let that stop me from following my dreams. That’s why I’m reaching out to my community for support. My initial goal is to raise enough funds to help me move across the country and get on my feet once I’m there. This includes covering housing and personal expenses. Any additional donations will go directly toward my tuition.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Forestry from UC Berkeley and have decided to shift my career path. My goal is to combine my environmental science background with landscape architecture to create more sustainable, accessible, and nature-centered urban spaces — especially for low-income and diverse communities.
Growing up in the Bay Area, I’ve seen firsthand how these communities are often left behind when it comes to green spaces and environmental design. My dream is to help change that by contributing to the creation of healthier, more vibrant, and resilient urban environments — starting with the communities that need it most.
Any contribution, no matter the size, means the world to me. Thank you so much for your support — together, we can create a greener, more equitable future! ✨
