Chasing Chelsea's Dreams- 100 Miles

On April 21, 2019, my oldest and dearest friend, Chelsea, was a victim of the terrorist attack in Colombo, Sri Lanka. On May 5, 2019, after a two-week battle, she passed away with her Mom and Dad by her side.  

When we were little girls, we used to make number lists of why we loved each other so much. I always told her that my list could go to number 100. That's how much I love her, 100 reasons (but i know it would be way over #100). 

I think I speak for many when I say that Chelsea has made this world so much brighter.  She supported me in all my dreams and has reminded me why I should chase every single one.

And now together it is our turn to chase Chelsea's dreams. I am making a promise to run those 100 reasons in 100 miles from today, August 6, 2019 to October 16, 2019 where I will finish the last 26.2 at the Brooklyn Marathon. 

I hope you will consider being apart of the 100 miles with me, whether that be running a mile or two, sharing your reason of why you love Chelsea, or donating to chase Chelsea's dreams. 

Her family will choose what dream(s) the donations will go towards!
