TEAM USA - Age 16
I hope to represent the USA while competing at the 2017 ITU Triathlon World Championships in Rotterdam, Netherlands September 14-17, 2017. I am humbled and honored to have been invited by USA Triathlon to represent my country. My placement at the 2016 USA Triathlon Age Group National Championships earned me a spot on Team USA.
RANKINGS: 2016 All American; 7th in USA in 15&U
Currently tracking #5 for 16-19 age group in Classic Triathlons

MY TRIATHLON STORY
I started as a swimmer when I was 8, but quickly found staring at the black line at the bottom of the pool day after day a bit boring. After a friend dragged me to one triathlon practice, I was hooked. I did my first triathlon in Lake Tahoe in the summer of 2015 and now find myself on Team USA. I love to race, especially sprint races, and I am very excited about the 2017 racing season.
WHY GO FUND ME?
I have two younger brothers also active in sports so between the three of us the bills are steep. My Dad is a Fire Captain and works as much overtime as he can to support us in reaching our goals. Even with overtime, the expense of regular racing including out of state trips and World Championships is out of budget. Triathlon training, gear, nutrition, and Nationals is expensive in itself.

I'm a Junior at Del Oro High School in Loomis enrolled in Advanced Placement science courses among others. I tutor in science and math in order to earn money. Holding a regular job is difficult due to school and my training schedule.
