#chasestrong battle against Ewings Sarcoma
Donation protected
Chase is a champion but he needs our help in this battle against cancer (again!) As many of you know, Chase was first diagnosed in 2014 with Ewing's Sarcoma and he fought (and won!) round 1. He has had 3 more "rounds" against this beast, and the most recent relapse began just 2 weeks ago when a "routine" 3 month scan showed a tumor in his chest that was about the size of a golf ball. He is currently being treated at Cleveland Clinic by one of the world's top ES specialists, and he remains a strong fighter, in every sense of the word!! If you've had the privilege of watching Chase swim, you have seen the drive and competitiveness that burns in his soul. If you've had the privilege of knowing Chase in person, you have seen the kindness and goodness, the loyalty and righteousness that exudes from his spirit. His faith is strong, his fight is strong and he has the support and love of a small community with a BIG heart! If you feel led to help the Smith family with a financial donation, know that it will be a huge help with expenses included in traveling, medical bills/deductibles/non-covered treatment or drugs, and many other myriad ways that those of us without a child fighting pediatric cancer will never know! If you are unable to make a financial donation but have the time or desire to pray, we covet your prayers on behalf of Chase and his whole family! We believe in the power of prayer, we believe that God is in the business of miracles, and we believe that God has great plans for this young man (now 17 years old!)
Thank you so very much.
