Chase's Legacy: Support His Family

December 27, 2024 was a normal day for most, but for our dear friends, Danielle and Austin, it was a day they'll never forget. Their sweet Chase received his brand new body and ran into the arms of our Lord and Savior.

Chase was born April 10, 2009. The doctors gave his parents the devastating news that his chance of survival was only a few days. Being the fighter Chase was, as the days passed, the doctors informed Danielle and Austin that his chances of surviving had increased, but as a result, he would be diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy.

God knew what He was doing when he chose Danielle to be Chase's mom. There are no words to truly describe her strength. Not only her physical strength, but her emotional and mental strength, too. Throughout the years of countless doctors appointments, ER visits, and hospital stays, Danielle has never skipped a beat. She has always made a way and figured it out. Back in 2021, during one of Chase's hospital stays at Children's, someone broke into her car. They busted out her windshield, stole her diaper bag, yet Danielle never slowed down.

That's only a snipet of what the Palmer/Alexander family has gone through. Now, they're grieving the loss of their son. They still have a family to take care of, jobs to go back to, bills to pay, and now a funeral.

As their friends, Alicia and I have taken it upon ourselves, with the okay from Danielle, to create this GoFundMe to help alleviate some of the financial stress during this time.
