I’m reaching out asking for prayers and any help you can give for Chase Weaver and my daughter Elizabeth (Lizzy or Sis) Jaco. Chase had to have brain surgery yesterday. He is unable to talk, doesn’t have full use of either arm but especially the right. Not sure at this point if he can walk. He’s not been up. Today, he has started having seizures and they can’t get them under control. They informed Kelly that they may have to put him in an induced coma and on a ventilator for healing purposes. He and Sis are expecting their baby (mine and Kelly’s grandson) at anytime (due the 1st). Sis is not handling this very well at all and neither is Kelly. So please pray for the both of them and his family. They have a long road ahead.
I did not post a picture of him after surgery in the hospital because he doesn’t want anyone to see him like that. So I will respect that and post one of him in his happy times!
If you could afford to donate to help with medical expenses, food and gas for travel to the hospital it would be much appreciated. If you can’t please just say a prayer for them all!
UPDATE- You’re prayers are working! Sis sent this message this morning….they said theyre keeping him in ICU for another day or so to monitor seizures, his dr said hes looking good and that once they move him down to a less emergent room then theyre gunna prepare him for leave bc hes gunna get antibiotics at home and all that his doctor said he may be out of here monday or by Monday depending on the seizures and physical therapy but it went well today, he was just light headed and rocking bc he cant eat, he just woke up, the swelling, the surgery, hadnt gotten out of bed in days, all of it. but he did really well for all those excuses as to why he wouldnt be able to. physical therapy said he did great he’s sleeping now and physical therapy got him to take some side to side steps and standing, i was feeding him yogurt and he was “liking” it until he offered me s bite bc i said it tasted good lol nope idk what they put in that yogurt but it ain’t like any i had. He has also been able to get a few words out but still having trouble with speaking.
PLEASE KEEP THE PRAYERS COMING!
