Chase Matters Recovery Fund
Chase Matters was the passenger in a deadly accident around 1:40 am on May 5th, 2017 at the intersection of Sanibel Blvd and US 41. He was ejected from the car after they hit a semi truck.
He is in SICU at Lee Memorial Hospital in Fort Myers FL. He is in a medically induced coma so that his body can heal. His right lung is collapsed. Chase has a huge incision in his stomach because of the initial internal bleeding. He has a lacerated liver. His body is covered in road rash, cuts, & bruising. By the grace of God he is alive however he has a very long recovery ahead of him.
Chase is the oldest of my sister Heather's 4 children. Heather is a single mother. She has been with him non-stop. Heather is missing work to be by her son's side. Chase is the "man of the family". Heather relies on his strength and right now he needs her strength to get him through.
Please consider a donation to help Chase's long road to recovery.
