Chase chow chow

Hi my name is Claire and you may all recall that a few months ago there was a stray chow chow running around scraptoft and Hamilton . He was running for 2 weeks and he was eventually caught by the amazing Natalie Nelson and her hubby . He was handed over to the dog warden as it is the law . He was a stray and no one came forward for him . Sadly as no rescues had space there was talk of him being put to sleep . Natalie and her husband were thinking about him constantly and couldn’t let this happen and so after a lot of persuading to the warden etc Natalie has been allowed to adopt him and as you can see he has flourished !! Sadly he’s got to have an operation on his eye , common in chow chows called entropion surgery and of course as its pre existing insurance does not cover it . As Natalie wasn’t expecting this expense - ops are between £700 and £900 I wanted to reach out to the community to just help get this amazing dog the operation he needs . Anything helps and I know Natalie and “ chase “ want to thank everyone for all your kind words you have all sent about him . Thank you so much xxxx
