On Sunday June 12th Chase and Diana Miller were in a side-by-side accident which resulted in a bad fire. They were transporting gas cans down to the boat when gas splashed out of the cans hitting the exhaust, as well as Chase and Diana. Upon hitting the exhaust, both gas cans immediately went up in flames…as did Chase and Diana. Her hair ignited first and Chase remained in place engulfed in flames to get the fire put out on his daughters head. Once everyone was safe from the fire we could finally see the extent of wounds. Chase was life flighted to the nearest burn unit which was an hour away while Diana was taken via ambulance. Thankfully Diana only had a few mild burns to her back and was released that same day. Had Chase not responded the way that he did, it is without a doubt her condition would be much worse. Chase is still in the burn unit under close observation. We are uncertain yet if he will need skin grafts, how many or how long he will be admitted. He suffered severe burns to his face, neck, back, chest, left calf, and practically all of his entire left arm. Due to the type of injuries it is likely he will be here for awhile which means he will be missing a lot of work. He is the breadwinner of our seven person family with five kids. It will not only be a physical healing journey but a financial one as well. Your help and donations will help us maintain our home and bills while we are out of state. Any donations and shares are greatly appreciated in our time of need. I want to say thank you to everyone who has reached out and who has been there for us. It truly takes a village and we have the greatest one
