My name is Renita, I am establishing this fund in honor of my beautiful cousin Letisha. I’m asking everyone for their prayers and support during this difficult time. She is one of the strongest women I’ve had the pleasure of knowing and has had a hand in raising and feeding many, her arms, heart and door are always open. In March 2008, Letisha was recovering from thyroidectomy surgery and later was diagnosed with left side breast cancer stage 2.

“By October 2008, I had a lumpectomy

on my left breast, followed by chemo and radiation.

The chemo was harsh and left me with complications that I still have to this date.

Fast forward to 2023, I was recovering from a recent back surgery (laminectomy) in 2022.

In May 2023, I was diagnosed with left side IDC (Invasive Ductal Carcinoma In Situ).

BREAST CANCER AGAIN. ...

At this time, I had already decided to have a bilateral mastectomy.

After surgery, I found out that the cancer was IDC in both breasts.

Now, that's something no one wants to hear either.

I did the Genetic Testing and 4 weeks later found out that I was a carrier.

This has been a wild roller-coaster ride. Since being diagnosed in May 2023. I've had 3 surgeries, multiple appointments, and testing. Now, I have to complete 6 rounds of chemo treatments every 3 weeks.

I have faith and know that God is in control of all things in my life.
