Phase One focuses on early fundraising, concept refinement, and pre-production preparation, including virtual set design and technical planning. Phase Two encompasses full pre-production and principal photography at ABQ Studios, where our cast, crew, and virtual production tools come together to capture the film efficiently. Phase Three moves into post-production and distribution, covering editing, sound, visual effects, festival submissions, and audience rollout—ensuring the film is completed to a high standard and reaches the cult and genre audiences it is built for.

Charon Alpha was inspired by our team’s love of classic, accessible science fiction that balances humor, heart, and big ideas.
