Dear Friends and Family,

I'm running as a write-in candidate for Forest Hill City Council, Place 3 in the upcoming May 6th local election and I need your support.

Those who really know me, know that I've often said I would never...But you know what they say about never saying "never".

So, why the change of heart? A week after moving into my new home there was an unsettling incident that occurred in front of my house. I immediately went to work to launch a neighborhood watch program, and I've since taken on more community responsibilities.

While my house and my immediate neighbors are wonderful, the city is starving for true leadership. Forest Hill is a majority Black and Brown city, and for years, the citizens and community have been neglected.

Despite the neglect, Forest Hill has a lot of promise. I want to put the citizens first and help the city live up to its potential.

Being new to the city, and running as a write-in candidate, I'm going to have to work 2 to 3 times harder than my opponents to get my name and message out there so that voters will go to the polls. That will take money and boots on the ground.

That's where you come in. With your help, I'm confident that we can get out the vote needed to mount a victorious campaign. Donations will be transferred from GoFund Me to the Charmaine Pruitt Campaign account, and they will be used to fund eligible campaign expenses, such as signage, printing, social media advertising, mailers, and voting lists, and other eligible campaign expenses.
