Charmaine and Amyah's Bucket List
Donation protected
On the 22nd of December 2023, a heartbreaking moment altered the lives of Charmaine and Amyah Brown forever. Amyah was given a devastating diagnosis of DIPG, a rare, aggressive, and incurable form of brain cancer. As Christmas Eve approached, Amyah was courageously recovering from a biopsy of her brain, facing a future full of uncertainties. DIPG has a median survival time of 9 months from diagnosis.
Hailing from Dubbo, Amyah has undergone six weeks of intense daily radiation to combat the cancer and alleviate her symptoms. Despite her resilience, the battle is far from over. Charmaine, a dedicated single mother, made the decision to cease working to provide round-the-clock care for her beloved daughter, nearly all of which has been at Ronald McDonald House or The Sydney Children's Hospital since her diagnosis.
In this time of need, as Charmaine and Amyah navigate this challenging journey, we appeal to your generosity and compassion. Your support can help alleviate the unexpected financial burden for Charmaine, enabling them to focus on what truly matters - Amyah's healing and well-being, and making lasting memories.
Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a significant difference in their lives.
Together, we can offer hope, strength, and assistance to Charmaine and Amyah as they face this uphill battle with unwavering determination. Thank you for considering to be a beacon of light in their time of unimaginable darkness.
