Charlotte will be sending a U19 team to compete in this year's Youth Club Championship (YCC) tournament hosted by USA Ultimate in Blaine, MN. The tournament date is set for August 12-14. This is the first time Charlotte Ultimate has been able to send a team to represent Charlotte.
The YCC tournament brings teams from across the country to compete for the championship title. These teams are made up of the top youth players from a competing city. Charlotte's YCC team consists of about 23 players ranging from ages 16-19. They are coached by Shane Sisco, Eric Olson, Cory McAvoy and Sam Lee.
Charlotte Ultimate is excited to be able to help organize this year's YCC team, but we need your help. There are a lot of monetary costs associated with sending a team to compete in Minnesota like transportation, lodging and tournament fees. We are hoping to raise support to help cover these costs.
Charlotte Ultimate has agreed to match dollar for dollar any donation received up to a $1000 max to help fund these costs, so any donation you give will make a huge difference.
