Charlotte’s Ullswater Swim

On June 6th 2021, I am swimming a mile in Ullswater as part of an organised event. I’ve decided to raise money from this swim which is a personal challenge for me and which I am training hard for. I'm raising money in aid of Rossendale & Pendle Mountain Rescue Team as I know how much hard work goes into the team and how they need money for resources to continue to save lives out on the hills and fells of the Pendle and Rossendale area. I have never had to call MR out but as I make use of the fells regularly, its good to know they’re there. Without your donations and the fundraising efforts of people locally, they would not be able to operate as they do at present. 

More information about Rossendale & Pendle Mountain Rescue Team: Rossendale and Pendle Mountain Rescue Team is a registered charity, made up entirely of volunteers. An integral part of the national search and rescue service, we are called out through the 999 system, and cover an area of approx 350 square miles across East Lancashire, Pendle, the Rossendale Valley and parts of Greater Manchester.
