Charlottes transition fund
Donation protected
Hey Faes,Baes and all other Hotties! For those that don't know, I'm Charlotte, a 27 year old nonbinary trans woman (she/they) living in Brooklyn, NY. By day, I'm an illustrator, graphic designer, costume assistant, hair artisan, MUA and nanny. By night, I'm a burlesque performer, door goddess, and goer of parties!
Living this lifestyle has always left me feeling very insecure about my body image. Given the state of the world over the last few years, I decided to begin my transition process. Despite having liminal funds, I have been able to socially transition through doing my makeup, getting my hair and nails done, and participating in activities that affirm my femininity such as burlesque. I also began my medical transition by starting HRT. Even though I've been lucky enough to transition in the aforementioned ways, I still find myself at an impasse. As time goes on, the necessity of furthering my medical transition grows. Throughout the pandemic, I have hit many incredible transition related milestones that I never thought I would reach. Now it's time to hit another.
This is where y'all come in. With that realization in mind, I began speaking with friends, family, and doctors in search of the best route to continue my medical transition through gender-affirming surgery. After many lengthy conversations, I have managed to find a team here in New York that is able to complete the necessary procedures, including aftercare for roughly $19,000. A deposit of $1,200 is due before we set a date. The last $3,000 is to cover my rent and living expenses while I am in recovery.
I also recognize that not everyone likes gofundme and is able to donate through it so here are other ways you can donate:
venmo: lilhottieart
cashapp: $charlottetheedoll
If you donate through one of these methods, I'll make sure your donation is reflected here.
Any donations of $50+ are eligible for a digital sketch from me, just make sure you leave your contact information! It's important to me to be able to show my gratitude in the one way I know how to, with my art. I know this is a lot to ask but it is ultimately something that will make me feel at home in my body.
No donation is too small, each and every single one brings me one step closer to living life as my best self, to feeling truly affirmed in my body and my identity.
