Charlotte's National Competition

Charlotte is a member of the Mauldin High Navy JROTC air rifle team and has just earned a bid to the JROTC all service national meet!  There are 583 Navy JROTC units with over 88,000 students in the US.  Of that maybe 15,000 compete in olympic 3 position air rifle and only 100 or so get a bid to the national competition in Phoenix, Arizona in early February.   The unit's budget can not currently handle the amount needed to make this well earned event happen and we have little time to conduct fundraisers.   This young lady is a near 4.0 student, a leader in both the school and unit, she embodies the navy's core values of honor, courage and commitment and is involved in more than just our team...she just happens to be a good marksman who needs help following a dream.  This is a huge honor and win for everyone involved and whether you donate or not, thanks for taking the time.
