Charlotte’s beach vacation wish
Donation protected
As many of you know, my mother in law, Charlotte, was diagnosed with Stage IV ovarian cancer last year. She has undergone surgery and chemotherapy and we have been hopeful for a remission and honestly, a cure. Charlotte has touched so many lives and I have been beyond blessed to be able to call her my second mom and my kids' Mimi. There are not enough words to describe how her love for my kids has touched my heart and theirs. I selfishly wish I could write and say that I know we have many many more years left to share with her, however, despite not knowing or understanding God's plan and his reasoning for calling her home, I know that her time here is limited. Her cancer treatments have stopped due to not responding and she has transitioned to hospice care. We do not know the exact timeline for things, but we do know that we want to cherish every moment we have left with her. One of her wishes is to have one last beach vacation with her family. I would love to be able to provide her wish and find a beach rental that would accommodate enough bedrooms, provide easy, accessible view and access to the ocean, and have her relax and take in God's beauty as she is surrounded by family. If you found it in your heart to donate, we would be able to find a rental property that would have the features necessary for accessibility, as well as not having to worry about financial burdens of the expense of a vacation during this time. I would also love to hire a professional photographer to document these moments together while at the beach.
