ONLINE CONCERTS SUPPORTING: Petra's, The Evening Muse, The Visulite Theatre, Neighborhood Theatre and Amos' Southend

We are local Charlotte musicians and singer-songwriters hoping to inspire music lovers and music creators to help out Independent Live Music Venues in our Charlotte, NC music community during this time of Covid-19.

Brit Drozda performed an at home concert on, April 1st at 8pm via IGTV, Facebook and Youtube where she sang songs off her latest album, Make Something Beautiful.  If you enjoy the concert, please consider putting a tip towards this fund to help out Charlotte Live Music venues.

The #charlottemusicchallenge has officially kicked off and several Charlotte musicians have been challenged to continue with home concerts of their own.  They may also be in need of tips and a source of income or could be continuing to support this cause as well.  Follow along this hashtag for some other great live music sets: #charlottemusicchallenge and #MusicAnywhereCLT

All of these venues that we are hoping to help out are ones that we have had the privilege to play our original music in, in Charlotte: Petra's, The Evening Muse, The Visulite Theatre, Neighborhood Theatre and Amos' Southend

These venues have been hit hard by the inability to gather and put on shows.  Brit Drozda had to cancel her March 26 Amos' Southend show that would have generated revenue for the employees of Amos' Southend.  Many more concerts have had to cancel and postpone throughout our city, leaving many of these small businesses without revenue and without pay for their employees.

The money from this Go Fund Me will be split equally between:

Amos' Southend will be giving the money directly to the employees who have been unable to work during this time.

Petra's will use the money to keep their doors open for future shows and help their employees who are out of work at this time.

The Evening Muse: "Thank you Brit! Any funds donated our way will be used as needed for the
staff and any expenses we need to cover & maintain to get us back on our
feet and open again as quickly as possible." - The Evening Muse

The Visulite Theatre

Neighborhood Theatre: "Neighborhood Theatre will use donated funds to pay staff unable to work during this time and venue expenses to keep the doors open for future shows."

"I am so grateful for the opportunity to Make Something Beautiful in Charlotte, NC and to have places to perform my art.  If you are a lover of live music, please consider giving.  No amount is too small and all is greatly appreciated!  Please help me and my fellow musicians keep these theaters and listening rooms open and their employees looked after!" - Brit Drozda
