Charlotte's Fight Against Cervical Cancer

Donation protected

We are raising money for our beautiful best friend who has recently been diagnosed with stage 3 cervical cancer.

Charlotte had just turned 31 when she was told that she had cervical cancer, this was a couple of weeks after she recieved a clear smear result.

Charlotte is a qualified nurse, graduating from Keele University in 2012. She started her career at the Royal Stoke Hospital as an Acute Medicine and Critical Care nurse. She then went on to be a Nurse Officer on a cruise ship, looking after people all over the world and of course fulfilling her dream of travelling. When she returned to the UK, she was employed as a forensic nurse for Wolverhampton Police.  Charlotte's love for making people feel more confident saw her become a full time, self employed asthetics nurse, but is now unable to work as she must shield because of coronavirus.

Charlotte will need to undergo chemotherapy and radiotherapy for a course of 6 weeks but she has selflessly volunteered to take part in a trial that will last a further 6 weeks. If accepted, Charlotte will lose her hair, something that wouldn't of happened if she kept to her original treatment plan - that's right, she is willing to lose her hair, something everyone would dread, to help develop a better treatment for cervical cancer for others!

Already, she has been through so much, no one wants to hear they have cancer, and no woman wants to hear that they will never be able to carry children - Charlotte has been told both! As her cancer has progressed to stage 3C, funding has been secured for her to have her eggs frozen and treatment for this will start within the next couple of weeks

Charlotte has started to raise awareness on her social media platforms, sharing her story and her journey with cervical cancer. She has inspired/reminded many ladies so far to get their smear test, as well as being there for others to talk too.
She has and continues to give so much to others, she is kind, genuine, determined, selfless and the strongest person I know.

Being  self employed means that Charlotte will not recieve much financial help, £96 a week in fact! She will not get support for her mortgage, or her car payments, or her phone bill and any other bills that she has to pay.

This is where you can help!

We know that times are really hard at the moment, with lockdown, furlough and Christmas just around the corner, we're all watching our pennies a bit more. But I am asking if you can donate to help support this incredible person - I think we can all agree that no one should have to worry about paying their bills whilst fighting this horrible disease!

Your kind donations will give her something less to worry about as she fights her toughest fight yet!

From the absolute bottom of our hearts, thank you all so much, for reading, sharing and donating ❤️
