Jason' Final Journey Home
Donation protected
The purpose of this Go Fund Me is to lessen the burden of bringing Charlotte's son, Jason M. Armstrong's body from Florida to Texas.
Jason passed away in November and his mother was notified after the medical examiner worked extensively to find his family.

A Message from Jason's Mother:
It is with a broken heart, misplaced spirit, lack of understanding, sheer anger and numbing heart that I announce the death of my son, Jason M. Armstrong. I can tell you he was homeless. I cannot tell you why. I thought that one day we would unite in love, in healing and laugh about how he was my wondering child, a lot like I was. He will never know the love I have for him. My beautiful, goofy, handsome young man. I remember when he changed. I wish I had all the tools to advocate for the challenges he had. I wish that young boys knew that they could cry, talk and let the world know, I’m not okay. I wish so much. All the hope I held for him died with the news of him gone.
Love your kids, advocate for when your gut tells you something is different. Break down walls, the healthcare system and anything else that gets in the way of helping them. The hormones and boldness of teen years and mental illness look identical and it is hard to say which a teen is dealing with but go with your gut, with the part of your heart that keeps you up at night.
I wish he lived long enough to work it out and tell stories of how, like me, it got better with time, with age, with a little wisdom and grace to make it. We all deserve to figure it out. I wish my son was here to feel the goodness in life.
I love you Jason, I will always carry you inside of my skin, my bones, my mind. I love you so much. It's painful to know all the love you carry for someone can't fix the pain they hold. He will always be loved tremendously. Father in heaven, I need you, we need you.
Your Mom
